Kingson Leung's Innovative Concept Store Merges Fashion and Lifestyle

Introducing the H.E Homme Store, a revolutionary concept in retail design by Kingson Leung. This unique space blends high-quality European clothing brands with a leisure lifestyle museum, offering a fresh take on the traditional retail experience.

The H.E Homme Store is not just a clothing store; it's a platform for the fashion industry. As a bridge linking high-quality European clothing brands to the Chinese market, the store needed a fresh business model and brand philosophy. Kingson Leung rose to the challenge, creating a space that adheres to the concepts of "taste, fashion, and personality".

Leung's design stands out for its innovative use of materials and space. The store features three main materials: rose gold stainless steel, white marbled glass, and dark cement board. These choices reduce clutter and give the space a high degree of recognition. The traditional closed-end window has been replaced with a new display mode where the interior design serves as the window background.

But the H.E Homme Store is more than just a clothing store. It's a lifestyle museum, offering healthy meals and drinks from a kitchen and bar area in the central region. This innovative concept guides customers towards a new lifestyle, blending retail fashion with leisure and health.

The realization of this design required advanced technology. The rose gold stainless steel was created through an indiscriminate profiling process, while the white marbled glass was produced by 3D scanning marble patterns onto the glass. The dark cement board was customized to match the spatial elements and create specific colors and texture effects.

This design project, which took place from August to December 2015 in Shen Zhen, China, faced creative challenges. The main challenge was breaking away from the traditional retail clothing store pattern to create a brand new concept store. The result is a space that is not just a store, but a lifestyle museum, a testament to Leung's innovative approach to design.

The H.E Homme Store design was recognized for its innovation and excellence, winning the Golden A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2016. This prestigious award is granted to creations that reflect the designer's prodigy and wisdom, advance art, science, design, and technology, and significantly impact the world with their desirable characteristics.
